Delete Your Account

This page explains how to permanently delete your BarCrawl account and the data associated with it.

Delete your account from the app

You can permanently delete your BarCrawl account and all of its data yourself, in a few taps:

• Open the BarCrawl app and sign in.
• Tap the gear icon (Settings) at the top of the screen.
• Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
• Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Deletion takes effect immediately. Your sessions are signed out and the account cannot be recovered.

One case is blocked: if you are the only owner of a bar with an active BarCrawl subscription, the app will ask you to cancel that subscription in the owner portal first, so nobody is left paying for a listing they can no longer manage. Once it is cancelled, deletion works normally.

Request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app installed or cannot sign in, email support@gobarcrawl.com from the email address on the account and ask us to delete it. We verify that the request comes from the account holder before acting on it, and complete verified requests within 45 days, the same window our Privacy Policy gives.

What is deleted

Deleting your account removes:

• Your account, email address, display name, date of birth, and sign-in credentials
• Your profile photo and any photos you uploaded
• Your ratings, reviews, survey responses, favorites, and friend connections
• Your direct messages and conversations
• Push-notification device tokens and location-consent settings
• Your usage-analytics events, and your ad-click records (a click from the last day that is still being counted for an advertiser's bill is kept only without any link to you)
• A gobarcrawl.com newsletter signup under the same email address

We may keep aggregate, non-identifying records (for example, total ad views in an area) and anything we are legally required to retain, such as billing records for bar and business subscriptions. See our Privacy Policy for details.
