Welcome to BarCrawl. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the BarCrawl mobile application and related services. By creating an account, signing in, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use BarCrawl.

1. Age Requirement

BarCrawl is intended only for users who are at least 21 years old, or the legal drinking age in their jurisdiction, whichever is higher. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We may suspend or remove accounts we believe are used by anyone under the legal drinking age.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate account information, keep it current, and use only accounts registered to you.

3. Use of the App

BarCrawl grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the app if you are under the legal drinking age
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Post false, misleading, or defamatory reviews or content
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute app content without written permission
• Impersonate another person or entity

4. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you submit, including photos, ratings, reviews, survey responses, and messages. By submitting content, you grant BarCrawl a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, adapt, and distribute that content as needed to operate, improve, market, and support the service. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit the content and that it does not violate any law or third-party right. We may remove content that violates these Terms, infringes another party’s rights, or creates safety, trust, or legal concerns.

5. Alcohol Disclaimer

BarCrawl is a venue discovery and social planning platform. We do not sell, serve, deliver, or supply alcohol. Venue information is provided for discovery purposes only. You are responsible for following local laws, drinking responsibly, arranging safe transportation, and making safe decisions.

6. Privacy

Your use of BarCrawl is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the app you consent to the data practices described there.

7. Third-Party Content and Links

The app may display venue information, maps, photos, ratings, links, and other content from third-party services such as Google Maps and Google Places. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their accuracy, availability, policies, or content. Use third-party links and services at your own discretion.

8. Acceptable Platform Use

You may not use BarCrawl to interfere with the service, probe security, introduce malicious code, automate unauthorized access, or use data gathered through the app to build a competing database, directory, or commercial service without written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

BarCrawl is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that venue information will always be complete, current, or accurate.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BarCrawl, FH Development Studio, and their affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

11. Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the app at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for other users, or misused the service. You may stop using the app at any time and may request account deletion through the app where available.

12. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of BarCrawl after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which FH Development Studio operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
